Find your local respiratory, cardiac, stroke, or long covid support group
Join one of our CHSS-partnered Peer Groups across Scotland and get support, socialise and meet others who understand what you’re going through.
Many stroke survivors or people living with long-term respiratory, long covid or cardiac conditions find it really helpful to connect with people who have had similar experiences.
Whether you want to find out more about your condition and how to look after yourself, or just fancy a friendly cuppa and a chat with people who know exactly how you’re feeling, our Peer Support Groups are the perfect place to meet likeminded people.
Each group offers their own programme of activities, with everything from gentle exercise sessions to coffee mornings.

“It’s a rehab group but actually it feels like a family.
“All of us have different health problems and everyone is there to support each other. I can’t put it in words how much it means to me but it’s just brilliant. We look out for each other.”
