Whether you’re Scottish or Scots at heart, it’s time to tartan up for a Burns Night In with a difference.

We may not be able to get together in person this year, but you can still celebrate the Bard with traditions both old and new!

Thinking of hosting a Burns Supper at home? We’ve got you covered with our Burns Night In pack, which includes everything you need to make your night as special and Scottish as possible.

Whether it’s a celebration with your family or a virtual gathering with friends across the globe, we’ve got all the entertainment, decorations and top tips to make sure your evening is one Rabbie himself would be proud of.

Know your sonsie face from your puddin’-race? Try our Burns Night quiz, or get your guests to test their local knowledge with our Scots translation game.

There’s even a Pin the Hat on the Haggis game for kids (and grown ups!). Your Burns Night In pack also includes invitations, menus and the all-important Address to a Haggis.

Burns Night is traditionally on the 25th of January, but you can pick any date in January to host your celebration. Just make sure you’ve got plenty of haggis, neeps and tatties at the ready!

Be a fundraising superhero

By hosting your own Burns Night In celebration and raising money for us, you’ll be helping people across Scotland do more than survive – you’ll help them really live.

Every penny you raise will go towards funding our Hospital to Home service, making sure people get the support they really need when they are feeling most scared and alone.

You’ll be helping people like Michelle from Ayr, who suffered a stroke just days after her mum had been taken to hospital for the same condition. Michelle pulled through, but sadly her mum didn’t.

“Claire made me feel better about everything “

When she returned home from hospital, she felt completely alone and didn’t know how she’d cope.

But then our support worker Claire got in touch. She helped Michelle regain her confidence, and made sure she got the support she really needed.

“Claire made me feel better about everything and I felt like I could really talk to her about how I was feeling,” says Michelle.

“You need people in your life who pick you up when things like this happen and I think there should be more Claires in the world.

“I am so thankful for all Claire’s support right now and I really don’t know where I would be without it.”

By hosting your own Burns Night In, you’ll be helping to make sure people like Michelle get the support they need.
