Simply Tea-riffic Event! 27 March 2026 Preparations are underway for our 2026 Tartan Tea Party. Our official Tartan Tea Party Day is May 21, but you can host your own party whenever you like. Just like Shona, one of the organisers of the Cookney Cuppa in Scotland’s north-east. The Cuppa takes place every month, donating its proceeds to different charities. We can’t wait to host another Tartan Tea Party this spring and hopefully beat last year’s total. Last year Shona, a volunteer at the Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland Stonehaven shop, helped the Cookney Cuppa become a Tartan Tea Party for the day for its May event, raising a fabulous £250 for Scotland’s leading health charity. Retired police officer Shona, 56, said: “Considering we are a small community, we were astounded at the number of people who came along and supported the event. The home bakers did us proud, and everyone who came along donated generously to a great cause. “I started volunteering with CHSS after I retired.
