Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland Thanks Right Medicine Pharmacy for Two Years of Dedicated Support

Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS) is celebrating a two-year partnership with Right Medicine Pharmacy, which raised £20,000.

CHSS is thanking the independent pharmacy group for its remarkable commitment to supporting people living with chest, heart, stroke conditions and Long Covid in Scotland after in-store initiatives at its 46 locations alongside a variety of fundraising events.

Anne Magarin, Community, Events and Corporate Fundraiser for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland said: “On behalf of CHSS I want to offer our heartfelt thanks to Right Medicine Pharmacy for the last two years of incredible support they have offered our charity.

“Partnerships like this are extremely important to CHSS to help us raise vital funds to support the 1 in 5 people across Scotland with our conditions. But these partnerships can only be successful with passion, enthusiasm and energy from everyone taking part and Right Medicine Pharmacy had all of those elements in abundance.

“Right Medicine Pharmacy’s efforts have had a direct impact on our aims to reach 175,000 a year living with chest, heart and stroke conditions and Long Covid by 2028 and we, once again, want to thank them for their generosity and support.

“Although the two-year partnership is officially over we will continue to collaborate with Right Medicine Pharmacy in the future on different projects.”

In 2024, Right Medicine Pharmacy selected CHSS as its charity partner, launching a year of impactful fundraising. Through instore initiatives such as the option for customers to round up purchases to the nearest pound, alongside a variety of team-led fundraising events, the pharmacy group raised £10,000 for CHSS.

The partnership was so successful that it was extended for another year in 2025 which was marked by more fundraising activities. Right Medicine Pharmacy once again supported the charity through instore roundups, raffles, bake sales, Christmas jumper days, and staff-led fundraising events including Kiltwalks, a fire walk and even organising a music fest in Wick which raised nearly £6,000.

Richard Stephenson, Right Medicine Pharmacy’s director of operations, said“We’re hugely proud of what this partnership with Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland has achieved.

“Raising £20,000 is a fantastic result, but just as important has been the opportunity to raise awareness of conditions that affect so many people across Scotland. Our teams and customers have really got behind this, and that sense of community has made a real difference. We’re excited to keep working together and continue building that awareness going forward.”
