Fundraising events postponed until July

In order to keep our participants, volunteers and staff as safe as possible, we have made the decision to postpone a number of our fundraising events. By doing this, we hope to relieve pressure on the emergency services and reduce the risk of exposure for people with our conditions – who are at high risk from the virus.

We are currently working very hard to reschedule all our events, and will update you with the new dates as soon as we can.

The fundraising events being postponed are:

  • Run Garioch
  • Loch Leven Walkathon
  • Glenlivet 10K
  • Glasgow Kiltwalk
  • London Marathon
  • Aviemore 100
  • Edinburgh Marathon Festival
  • Loch Ore Beast Race
  • Forth Bridge Abseil
  • Saltire 24
  • Duthie Daunder & Deeside Stride
  • Megawatt Walkathon

The fundraising events being cancelled are:

  • Tour de Lauder

Please continue your fantastic fundraising efforts.

We need your help now more than ever to ensure we can provide people with chest, heart and stroke conditions with vital support during this difficult time. With an increasing volume of calls, the Advice Line is under serious pressure – and they will continue to become more and more in demand as the virus takes hold.

If you are organising a fundraising event or have signed up to take part in another event to fundraise on behalf of Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, please contact your CHSS community fundraiser to check on the status of the event.

People are leaving hospital feeling scared and alone. You can change that.

Your donation can help people do more than just survive – you can help them really live.
