Be a Fundraising Superhero

By signing up to brave the Zipslide, you’re doing something spectacular!

We’re asking all our fundraising heroes to promise to raise at least £200 in sponsorship. We will provide all the support you need to help you meet and beat your fundraising goal. Please note there is an early bird registration fee of £20 to secure your place – this will increase to £30 29th December 2025

Every penny you raise will go towards helping someone in Scotland living with a chest, heart or stroke condition or Long Covid rebuild their life and get back to doing the things that matter to them.

“I still have a lot of living to do. Being part of CHSS is the best possible way to do that.”

You’ll be helping people like Margaret. Since September 2021, Margaret has had three mini strokes – known as a transient ischaemic attack or TIA – preceded by two silent strokes.

After taking part in our online functional fitness and balance classes, Margaret has completed our self management course to help her deal with the effects of the stroke.

“I would not have recovered as well or looked forward to what life has in store for me if Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland hadn’t been there to encourage, help and support me.

“Things changed the moment I looked at the leaflets the CHSS stroke nurse had given me. I got help from the charity’s Advice Line, then was able to join the online functional fitness and balance classes. Then I learned about the self-management course, which has been the most important step on this journey.

“The self-management course really helped me make a lot of sense of what I was feeling.

“I still have a lot of living to do. Being part of CHSS is the best possible way to do that.”

By fundraising for us and taking on the Zipslide, you’ll be helping fund our vital support services so more people across Scotland can get the support they desperately need to live their lives to the full.
