What’s Involved?

There is no need to train for the fire walk; as long as you are aged 14 or over (anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult) and can walk ten paces at an average walking speed, you can complete the fire walk. You will spend 90 minutes learning the skills required to conquer this challenge before taking to the flames. Our professional event organisers have been running fire walks for many years and with their expert guidance you will be in very safe hands.

What we ask of you.

You can secure one of our limited places for just £30. We ask you to pledge to raise at least an additional £150 in aid of Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland. We of course encourage you to aim big and raise as much sponsorship as possible to support our essential services! Remember, every pound you raise will be helping someone with a chest, heart or stroke condition or Long Covid to live their life to the full.

What are you waiting for?

There are limited places available so be sure to hot step it over to our registration page to secure your place today. Don’t forget to fire a message to your family, friends or colleagues so they can get their place alongside you for a night to remember too!

Your bravery makes a difference

Tim had a stroke at the age of 36 which completely changed his life forever.

“I suffered three strokes within three days. My wife and children watched me have a stroke right in front of them.”

“Thankfully I survived, but from that point on my battle to recover began. The stroke left me with left-sided paralysis. I couldn’t do anything for myself. Part of my head was missing, and I was a mess.”

“It was hard to accept that I had come so close to leaving my family and friends. But I didn’t. I survived.”

“The time when you leave hospital can be the most lonely, isolating and difficult of times. Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland is there to make sure no one has to recover alone. But the work the charity does is only possible thanks to you. Your support means everything.”

Every pound you raise matters. All the money raised in Scotland stays in Scotland:

£20 – Can give someone one hour of vital one-to-one help with a support worker to get back to enjoying life after diagnosis of a chest, heart or stroke condition or Long Covid.

£40 – Would help train a volunteer Kindness Caller to make sure there is always someone at the end of the phone for people who feel isolated and lonely.

£50 – Will mean that someone can attend a support group for three months which will help them cope with the emotional and physical impact of their condition.

£165 – Will fund three months of support for someone with a chest, heart or stroke condition or Long Covid through our Community Healthcare Support Service.
