Already got a few 5K or 10K races under your belt? Go the extra mile and push yourself to tackle one of the Kilomathon’s unique distances!

  • 13.1K – A stunning route winding from Leith’s shore to the stadium at BT Murrayfield, this is the perfect distance for seasoned 10K runners who fancy training to tackle a half or full marathon.
  • 6.5K – Race along the city’s leafy cycle paths from Ferry Road all the way to the BT Murrayfield stadium on this route that’s a wee bit more challenging than a classic 5K.
  • Mini Kilomathon – Perfect for kids age 6-14, this 2.6K run offers a fun and safe route around BT Murrayfield stadium, ending with a grandstand finish.
With routes to suit everyone, the Kilomathon is a fantastic day out for all the family. So grab your running shoes and sign up now to secure your place!

You’ll be helping people like Troy

“Life changed for me when I got help from Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland. ”

By signing up for the Kilomathon and raising funds for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, you’ll be helping people like Troy get the support they really need to recover when they return home from hospital.

When Troy, 53 from East Lothian, suffered a stroke, it led to the ‘darkest time of his life.’

“I’ve always been physically fit and strong. I served as a Royal Marine Commando, and I put my life on the line to help others,” Troy explains.

“I have faced challenging situations before as part of my job, but I’ve never felt more scared and alone than last year when I had a stroke.”

He is so grateful for the support provided by Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.

“Life changed for me when I got help from Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland. The team at this amazing charity rescued me and my family from the darkest time in our lives.”
