Type: Stroke

This study aims to look at a stroke survivor’s experience of wearing a foot splint. It will focus particular on comfort, ease of putting on and off, ability to walk barefooted and any falls that the participants may have had. One hundred stroke survivors will be asked to complete a short questionnaire and then a smaller group of 20 will be asked more detailed questions over the telephone. The findings will help to influence clinical practice and future stroke rehabilitation.
