It’s World Kindness Day and to celebrate we’re sharing the inspiring story of our Kindness Volunteer Sam

It’s World Kindness Day and to celebrate we’re sharing the inspiring story of our Kindness Volunteer Sam. ❤

Our Kindness Volunteers spread kindness throughout our communities by supporting people who are isolated and alone through practical support like getting their shopping and regular kindness calls. ??

Sam supports Jim, a pensioner who has heart health issues and has to shield.

She says: “Jim has heart problems and lives in a first-floor flat, so it’s difficult or almost impossible for him to get out. He’s obviously very concerned about covid, too.
“I call Jim to get his shopping list and drop things off to him.

Sam, who owns a catering business, says, “Volunteering can take a bit of effort, but you never regret doing it, ever!”
