Falkirk Club Ready for a Wheely Good Show 12 June 2026 A Falkirk roller sports club is getting their skates on for charity this weekend. The Falkirk Wheelers will hold their annual fundraiser at the West Lothian Cycle Circuit on Sunday June 14th in aid of Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS). Gregor Watson from the club said: “We have chosen to support CHSS as some of our members have been affected by heart conditions and our treasurer had a stroke earlier this year so it’s a cause which means a lot to us. “Sunday’s skating fundraiser is open to anyone from across Scotland and participants have the choice of skating 5K, 10K, half marathon and a full marathon distance. “We try and do a charity skate every year and now that we have the new West Lothian Cycle Circuit we’re planning on doing a marathon every year now.” Kim Kilgour, Community, Events & Corporate Fundraiser at Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, said: “We’re grateful to the Falkirk Wheelers for choosing CHSS as the beneficiaries of their fundraiser this year and it’s a cause close to the club. “Fundraisers like this help us continue to provide advice, support and community services for the 1 in 5 people across Scotland living with chest, heart and stroke conditions. Every fundraiser helps us be there for more people and families when they need us most to ensure people get the right help, at the right time, in the right place.” For more information please go to www.falkirkwheelers.co.uk or Falkirk Wheeler’s Facebook page and to buy a ticket for the event please go to: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/charity-skating-event-for-chest-heart-and-stroke-scotland-tickets-1990176830474 If you’re living with the effects of a chest, heart or stroke condition or Long Covid and are looking for advice, information, or access to our services in your local area, please contact Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland’s Advice Line on 0808 801 0899.
