CHSS offers a range of advice, support and practical help for people affected by chest illness and their families and carers.
Our Advice Line nurses provide confidential advice, support and information to help you or your family. Whether you need someone to talk to or you are looking for details of local services, the Advice Line will help with any information on living with chest illness.

We have a wide range of booklets, factsheets and online information covering different chest conditions through to practical information such as breathing and inhaler techniques and how to look after yourself in the long term. Support groups in your local area
Many people find it useful to meet others who have been affected by chest illness.
CHSS has a number of support groups across Scotland for people who living with chest illness or other long-term conditions. The groups offer a wide range of support including exercise, social activities and an opportunity to talk to others who understand what you are going through.
These groups are run by people living with chest illness or other long-term condition and are supported by CHSS.
