Rangers matchday collection
Rangers matchday collection, 16th March, 12.30-3pm, Ibrox
We are looking for 30 enthusiastic volunteers to support a bucket collection at the Rangers Vs Kilmarnock game. A free ticket to see the game is available for the first 20 sign ups.
The collection is part of a CHSS Rangers day which is a great opportunity for us to raise awareness of the work of Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland as well as vital funds. As part of this match day we’ll be helping one of our stroke survivors John to get back to the game for the first time since his stroke. This short film clips will tell you John's Story. We’ll also be running seated exercise actives and blood pressure checks to raise awareness of the importance of knowing your own health.
What: enthusiastic volunteers to help with bucket collections for approximately 2 hours. Volunteers will be provided with buckets and CHSS branded tabards.
Where: Rangers Football Club, Ibrox Stadium, Glasgow
When: Saturday 16th March 2019 – 12:30pm until 3:00pm
Role: To represent Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland in a professional and courteous manner at an external event, and to raise funds through general donations given from the public by means of a bucket collection, under the guidance of the Partnerships Manager.
Our last Rangers bucket collection was loads of fun and raised over £1,000. We'd like to smash that with more volunteers helping raise more money! If available to volunteer at the ‘Big Collection’ on Saturday 16th March 2019 please let us know by following this LINK or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
