Everyone has the right to live life to the full. After a diagnosis of a chest or heart condition or a stroke, many people experience fear and isolation and struggle with the impact on their lives. Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland won’t stand for that. The care and support we deliver every day ensures everyone can live the life they want to.
This post is available for a fixed period of 12 months and is part-funded through Community Jobs Scotland. As such, this post is strictly restricted to 16 to 29-year-olds, including carers, early service leavers (armed forces), care experienced, disabled and young people with convictions who are not on the Work Programme, Work Choice, Specialist Employment Support, Work First Scotland or Work Able Scotland.
You will gain experience and understanding of working in a busy Finance Team. Full training will be given to assist the post-holder to become competent in providing professional, customer-focused Finance support for CHSS.
We are looking for applicants who are willing to develop skills in a variety of Finance activities. You should have good general education, IT skills (Microsoft Excel as well as Microsoft Office applications), arithmetic skills, attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team, develop organisational skills gain confidence to communicate at all levels.
