Put your best foot forward, strolling or striding!

The Duthie Daunder & Deeside Stride – Join us for a stroll or a stride at the historic and majestic Duthie Park, taking in the scenic Deeside Way in Aberdeen. On Saturday 18th July 2020 you can help us support people living with chest, heart and stroke conditions by taking part in this stunning sponsored walk.

We have a range of walking distances to suit all regardless of age or ability and with all well-behaved furry friends welcomed too this is really is an inclusive walking event for all the family. Whether you’re walking 1 mile to 10 miles, solo of with friends, families or colleagues, every step you take will help others live life to the full.

Duthie Daunder

All routes start and finish at the Bowling Pavilion within Duthie Park and are along well-maintained and traffic free footpaths suitable for wheelchair and mobility access. All routes will be signposted with event marshals along the way to cheer your fantastic efforts along. Walkers will sign in within the Bowling Pavilion where they will receive one of our CHSS t-shirts to wear, along with your event number. On return all walkers receive a well- deserved goody-bag and medal when you cross the finish line!

Choose from our 1 mile option which is a pleasant Daunder around Duthie Park with optional Treasure Hunt for the kids (and grown up ones too!) or complete any of our 3, 5, 7 or 10 mile distances along the Deeside Way including a loop of the park too.

We would love our walkers to support people with life-changing conditions in the local community by getting sponsored for their walk or by making a donation. There is no minimum sponsorship or obligation to raise funds but we would be very grateful if you took this opportunity to raise what you can to support our vital work. Optional sponsor forms and information about raising funds will be included in your confirmation and registration packs should you wish to raise sponsorship or make a donation on the day.
