What is the RoadBlock Run?
In a nutshell, it is a friendly, 7K fun-run with crazy obstacles, organised by the Scottish charity Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.
The next 7K fun-run with an obstacle twist will take place in Edinburgh on Sunday 10 September 2017.
You can run, jog or walk the route as an individual or as a team - but remember, the emphasis is on having fun! The run has more than 10 obstacles designed to get you sliding, climbing, scrambling, crawling and laughing before you know it. Inflatables, lorries, tunnels, bootcamp... you never know what you might find! Fancy dress is encouraged as well!
RoadBlock Run is part of a family of obstacle runs that originally started in 2009 under the name of Urbanathlon Scotland. 2017 will see the eleventh run in the series, and so far the fun-runs have helped raise over £300,000 for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.
How does it work?
We ask each participant to register by paying £9, and then to raise an additional £40 in sponsorship for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland. Your regional fundraising advisor will provide support and advice to help you raise sponsorship from your friends, family and colleagues. We encourage people to aim to raise as much as they can to support our work.
Enter as an individual or a team
We love teamwork, and a prize will be awarded for the best team name. However individuals are welcome too - our RoadBlock Runners are a friendly lot! Everyone needs to sign up individually and personally agree to the event disclaimer, but you can link yourself to your other team members by entering your team name when asked on the registration form.

Raise money while you run
Unlike most other obstacle runs, the Roadblock Run is organised completely by Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland and all proceeds go to charity, either CHSS or one of our affiliated charities.
