The Culloden Run

Regrettably, we’ve had to cancel this year’s Culloden Run.

Regrettably, we’ve had to cancel this year’s Culloden Run.

Unfortunately the cost of living crisis and rising costs are having an impact on our fundraising and we have, therefore, had to take the really difficult decision to cancel the event.

We are so sorry to all our participants, supporters and everyone who makes this event what it is every year.

We hope you understand this tough decision but if you have any questions or if you would like a refund please get in touch at fundraising@chss.org.uk.

What it involves

Fancy taking part? Register now for just £25 and choose whether you want to tackle the Culloden Run 17.46k or the Culloden 10k.

You’ll receive a digital fundraising pack to help you get ready for the event, as well as a special medal and goody bag on race day.

You can also support Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland by raising optional sponsorships or making a donation. You’ll receive a sponsorship form in your pack – if you need any help to kickstart your fundraising, we’re here to help!

All proceeds from the run go to Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, making sure people across Scotland get the vital support they need when they return home from hospital.

Why it matters

By taking part in the Culloden Run, you’ll be helping to change the lives of people across Scotland.

Chest, heart and stroke conditions account for 40% of all adult deaths in Scotland. More people than ever before are living with chest, heart or stroke conditions.

And since the pandemic, the people we help have included those suffering the effects of Long Covid.

Just ask Troy

Last year, Troy, 53 from East Lothian suffered a stroke leading to the ‘darkest time of his life.’

He is grateful for the support provided by Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.

“I have never felt more scared and alone than when I had a stroke.

“But life changed for me when I got help from Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.

“The team at this amazing charity rescued me and my family from the darkest time in our lives.”
