Charity Shop — Books And Music Merchandising Volunteer

Do you have an interest in books or records? We are looking for volunteers to sort and merchandise the donated books, vinyl records, CDs, DVDs and videos and with your help to identify that valuable special record or rare first edition.

A good knowledge of books, current authors, fiction and non–fiction and ability to discuss books with our customers would be an advantage.

The role includes:

• Categorising Books, Vinyl Records, CDs, DVDs and Videos
• Helping to identify potentially valuable items
• Assisting with stock replenishment and rotation
• Creating displays and thinking of promotional ideas

All necessary training will be provided by the charity and all volunteers are supported by their shop manager and expenses reimbursed.
