Millennium Passport Volunteering

Are you aged 16 – 25 years old?

Millennium Volunteering allows young people aged between 16 and 25 to gain recognition for the volunteering they undertake in their community.

You can receive certificates for every 50 hours of volunteering you do from the Scottish Government.

The MV Volunteering Passport

• The MV Volunteering Passport is an online resource young people can use as part of their MV Awards experience.

The MV Volunteering Passport is and can also be accessed through Volunteer Development Scotland.

• The MV Volunteering Passport allows you to securely track volunteering hours online, keep a journal of activities and to seek validation through a linked process in order to claim MV certificates.

• The MV Volunteering Passport allows volunteers to track volunteering hours for many volunteering opportunities.

• During the registration process, you are linked to a Volunteer Centre by selection of Local Authority Area.

A cumulative time sheet keeps track of all the hours added across all opportunities for the volunteer and is linked to the certificate request.

All of the volunteer roles within Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland are registered to be eligible for the Millennium Volunteer Passport
