Who is the Forum for?
The Scottish Heart Failure Nurse Forum (SHFNF) is for registered nurses primarily involved in the specialist management patients with heart failure in Scotland.
Aims of Forum
- To promote the essential role of nurses in managing patients with heart failure.
- To share and develop knowledge, expertise and best practice.
- To promote research-based evidence into practice, and promote research to improve outcomes.
- To help develop core competencies, education and training initiatives for heart failure nurses.
- To advise and influence the provision of heart failure nursing services, which impinge on patient care and carers at local and national level.
