Travel And Practice Development Applications
Travel awards — up to £1000
Assistance with travel to present papers/ posters on research projects, study at an established centre of excellence in the UK or abroad, or to allow specialist training, thus allowing dissemination of knowledge. This award is specifically aimed at junior medical staff, nurses, AHPs and medical students.
Two months' notice of intended travel must be given. For full guidelines on the travel awards and dates of when the committee meet to review awards please email research@chss.org.uk or phone 0131 225 6963.

Practice development awards — up to £1,000
Small grants to further practice development of nurses and AHPs, to attend courses or undertake study visits which will lead directly to improved patient care. Awards of up to £1,000 will be made, with priority given to those living and working in rural areas.
