Study On Heart Failure Awareness And Perception In Europe
The Study On Heart Failure Awareness And Perception In Europe (SHAPE) was established in 2002 by an independent group of medical specialists. SHAPE aims to improve heart failure care across Europe by increasing public awareness and perception of the disease. SHAPE has also initiated an educational programme with a similar objective among heart failure sufferers, their families, and the health care professionals who treat them.
SHAPE is also involved in lobbying governments and healthcare providers across Europe to make greater resources available for improved care of people with heart failure.
