Trusts & Foundations

Trusts and Foundations play a key role in supporting the services that Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland provides in all areas relating to chest, heart and stroke illness. They provide funds for specific projects, costs for essential project staff, and enable us to ensure the longevity of our projects by pledging funds over several years. They will fund work that reflects their own location, origins, interests and priorities.

Thanks

CHSS is extremely grateful for the ongoing help of our supporting trusts. With their financial assistance we are able to continue to deliver our broad range of services across Scotland to people affected by chest, heart and stroke illness.

Every donation from charitable trusts and foundations, whatever the size, is used to make a difference to our work and services.

  • Mrs HE Mitchell’s Trust gave £8,000 in 2006/7 to support the CHSS VSS Groups. This helped 8 people attend one of our groups in the Central Belt for a whole year. CHSS is extremely grateful for this support.
  • Our Outreach Communication project in the Highlands has been funded by a grant from The Robertson Trust for three years.

Did you know? Every week over 700 volunteers across Scotland help Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland to deliver its services and/or help us to raise the funds needed to pay for them
