Fundraising at Work
CHSS welcomes support from employees and together with your colleagues you can make a real difference to the lives of people living in Scotland who have or come in contact with chest, heart and stroke illness.
Whatever you are looking for, there are many ways you and your company can support the work of Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.
Some of the ideas include:
- Look at our fundraising ideas pack on simple ways to raise money with your friends and family
- Encourage colleagues to donate by setting up a payroll giving scheme
- Recycle all your old mobile phones and printer cartridges
- Adopt CHSS as your Charity of the Year
- Take part in one of our many events taking place during the year in Scotland or organise your own event on behalf of CHSS
Things you can do:
There are lots of ways that your colleagues and you can fundraise together to support the work of CHSS.
Contact your local CHSS Regional Fundraiser now, to find out about a selection of fun and simple ideas that fit any organisation whether you work in an office, in a retail store or in a service environment. These could include: Abandon your car and walk to work – get your mates to do the same and put the money you would have spent together as a donation (you are also helping the environment at the same time); Swear Boxes – paying in advance is a good idea for particularly stressful days but it encourages everyone to think about how they manage their etiquette!!
