Raising funds, and awareness of chest, heart and stroke illness, CHSS staff and volunteers celebrate opening another shop.

Charity Shops

Help us claim Gift Aid on your stock donation and get an extra 28p for every £1 sold.

We have over 20 shops across Scotland selling a range of donated goods, including clothing and accessories, bric-a-brac and books. The only new goods we sell are our own Christmas cards.

We always need stock so, if you have goods for us, please drop in during shop hours (10.00 am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday). . We can also collect goods if you are unable to drop them by, particularly if you’ve had a major clear out.

As well as needing stock, we rely on volunteers to help run our shops. It's a great way to meet new people and make new friendsand improve your skills.

How the money helps locally

The money raised through our shops helps provide CHSS services in hospitals, community centres and people’s homes across the country.

These local services encourage people who are isolated by the effects of chest, heart or stroke illness to:
• enhance their quality of life
• build up their confidence and widen their social horizons
• regain maximum independence in the community
• and encourage and support their families and carers
