Advanced Assessment and Management of COPD in Primary Care Module – Glasgow Caledonian University

The module offers an integrated theory to practice approach to support professional learning, aiming to develop advanced assessment and management skills for practitioners working within primary care settings. The study topics delivered by local respiratory clinicians include: pathophysiology; clinical examination; pharmacology; spirometry; pulmonary rehabilitation, to support the delivery of long term care.
