Target Audience

Trained and care assistant staff working within the nursing/residential home environment, who care for residents who have suffered a stroke.

Aims And Objectives

  • to enhance existing skills, knowledge and confidence in this area
  • to provide an update on new developments in the area of stroke care
  • to provide a unique insight into the difficulties experienced by the stroke patient
  • to ultimately enhance patient care

  • Experiencing Stroke Workshop

This course is delivered on request from care homes, however there are currently 2 dates set for care homes in the Lomond area.

Care/Nursing Home Half Day Training—delivered on request.
