CHSS offers Personal Support Grants and benefits advice to those in financial difficulty because of the effects of illness.

Personal Support Grants

Anyone who has Chest heart or stroke illness where the severity of the illness has caused need or financial hardship can apply for help through our Personal Support Grants Programme.

CHSS and CAB Scotland have appointed three Benefits Advisors to provide advice and information about social security benefits to people in need of assistance.
