Advice Line Nurse

  • Salary: £24,139 - £29,993 pro-rata (Band 6 Equivalent)
  • Hours: Part time (20 hours), Monday to Friday, flexibility required. Full or half days by arrangement.
  • Location: CHSS Head Office, Edinburgh

CHSS is one of Scotland’s leading medical charities and improves the quality of life for people affected by chest, heart and stroke illness.

The Advice Line provides confidential, independent information, advice and support to people affected by chest, heart and stroke illness, their families, carers and health professionals. The Advice Line has achieved accreditation with The Helplines Association.

Due to expansion of the Advice Line service, we are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, Registered Nurse with excellent communication skills and the ability to work on their own initiative. The candidate will work as part of the Advice Line team, using their breadth and depth of knowledge to make a real difference to patients’ lives.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who will have the opportunity to enhance their current skills and acquire many new ones. Candidates must have a good level of post-registration experience. Experience in working with people affected by (at least one) of chest, heart or stroke illness is essential.

Assistant Shop Manager (Sundays) - (Anstruther)

  • Salary: £7.50 per hour
  • Hours: 1 day / 6 hours per week
  • Location: 47 Shore Street, Anstruther, Fife
  • Closing date: 12pm on Wednesday 22 May 2013
  • Interviews: To be confirmed

We are opening a new Boutique style charity shop at this location and require an Assistant Shop Manager-Sundays to assist with the running of this store. If you are enthusiastic about retail shopping, sales driven, can generate stock and have an eye for fashion come and join us at this exciting time as we launch this new store.

Some experience of working with volunteers is preferred as you will provide support to their recruitment and development.
